Being a freelancer for some years now, I can assure you I have handled my fair share of various assignments: product manuals, store pages, brochures, small company websites, transcripts, short videos, social media posts, training courses, packaging, etc.

Erasmus+ Fairness In Teaching

A project supported by the Erasmus+ programme to promote the representation of girls in STEM.Teaching materials, training courses for primary and secondary school teachers to increase the representation of girls in STEM.

  • Translation of teaching materials, training courses and resources for primary and secondary school teachers, pupils and associated partners.
  • Bilingual translation of the discussions and communications between the regional representatives, EU autorities, STEM ambassadors, training centres, etc...
  • Subtitles and transcriptions for the video content

Shanghai and Suzhou Tourism Offices

Collaboration with the tourism offices of Suzhou and Shanghai for the translation and proofreading of numerous documents.

  • Translation and proofreading of tourist brochures, tours, and places of interest.
  • Translation of press releases.
  • Translation of app content designed for Francophone tourists.

Huffpost France (Groupe Le Monde)

  • Translation of articles on a wide variety of subjects: culture, tech, politics, education, economy, etc.
  • Proofreading and editing of translated articles before publication

Translators without Borders & UN Volunteers

Around 2019, I started doing some volunteer translation work as a way to get some practice and experience while completing my degree. These projects were incredible learning experiences and are part of the reason I still pursue this line of work.
For example:

  • Translation support for the UNESCO of training documents on the topic of inclusion through sports and fitness
  • Information and help documents for the International Organization for Migration of Warsaw
  • Brochures and presentation materials for a national reforestation project in Burundi for the UNSDG (United Nations Sustainable Development Group)
